Civil works on the Pakistan pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai have been completed and the structure has now been handed over to the Pakistani authorities, the Consulate General of Pakistan in Dubai said on 14 March 2021.
Located in the Opportunity district, the pavilion is spread across an area of nearly 3,250 square metres. The main contractor of the pavilion is UAE-based ASGC, alongwith its subsidiaries Al-Shafar United as the mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) contractor and Al-Shafar Interiors as the fit-out contractor.
Present during the handover were Abdul Razak Dawood, advisor to the prime minister of Pakistan on commerce and investment; Muhammad Sualeh Ahmed Faruqui, secretary, Ministry of Commerce; Afzaal Mahmood, ambassador of Pakistan to the UAE; Ahsan Ali Mangi, secretary, Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP); and other officers from the Pakistan embassy, consulate and TDAP.

The organisers of the Australian participation at Expo 2020 Dubai have announced the completion of construction and fitout works of their country pavilion.
Justin McGowan, Australia s commissioner general for Expo 2020 said in a video published by the official Twitter account that this piece of Australia in Dubai will deliver an unparalled opportunity to showcase the pioneering and innovative spirit of Australians .
