been many plans, including beefing up security at the boarders, but the border spreads quite a long distance, over the whole of kenya. there have been suggestions to build a wall between somalia and kenya along the borderline. but this is still in the making. they re waiting to see if it will happen. there have been suggestions in the past that haven t worked out. kenyans are complaining that curfews have been the go-to plan when these things happen. they beef up security, but after a few weeks they re out of that place. so people are requesting for more presence, like this university for example. there were at least two police officers, which is unusual to have police officers guarding a university. but still, they say that wasn t sufficient because it s quite a hot spot when it comes to al shabab attacks. so people are demanding more,
