After months of hectic electioneering, Nigerians, including the candidates, are set for the D-Day in what appears to be a make-or-mar presidential election.
As Nigerians countdown to the presidential polls, which will hold in the next 25 days, the Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations (UN) and Chair of the UN Sustainable Group, Ms Amina J. Mohammed, has warned that Nigeria cannot afford to fail with the 2023 general elections.
The United Nations on Monday advised the President Muhammadu Buhari-led government that Nigeria should get it right with the 2023 general elections and must not fail. The global organisation also stated that the only path for a nation to succeed was through sustainable development which it had been advocating.
