NEW BRUNSWICK - A former special education teacher at Sayreville Middle School who also formerly served as wrestling coach at Union County College has been indicted on multiple charges of criminal sexual contact with a minor and surreptitious filming of several adult victims. John Denuto, 44, of Spotswood, was initially arrested on Feb. 15, 2020, following an investigation that found he allegedly had criminal sexual contact with a juvenile and possessed sexually exploitive materials he had created by filming and photographing the juvenile. But further investigation determined Denuto was allegedly in possession of additional child sexual exploitive materials unrelated to the juvenile, according to the prosecutor s office.
