After chairing a second round of talks that have achieved nothing, mediator Lakhdar Brahimi wanted to address the syrian people. I think the little that has been achieved in homs gave them even more hope. Reporter dr. Brahimi explained there had been arguments over the agenda for the talks. He made a compromise proposal and he made it clear which side had objected. Unfortunately, the government has refused, which raises the suspicion of the opposition.
