Machines that sorts baggage and it is affecting some of the departures at sfo. Chopper five was above the tarmac a couple of hours ago and you could see some of the united planes lining up as their seem to be isolated issues with united. About an hour ago, in the department departures area, this is what we found, a lot of people trying to sort baggage by hand. As far as delays, they seem varied from what we heard. Many passengers did not even know what was going on but we did speak with one woman who said there were significant delays. Ive been here over heres view from chopper 5 over the baggage compartments there outside of the planes as they, again, had to go through them manually. United has not made a statement about this.
