Muscat: More than 2,000 people in the Sultanate have been vaccinated with the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine during the past 24 hours, which is 3 percent of the total coverage rate for the target groups.
A statement issued online by Oman News Agency (ONA), said: According to a statistic issued by the Ministry of Health, the total number of those vaccinated with the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine during the first phase of the national campaign for immunization against Covid 19 reached 2,101 during the past 24 hours, which is 3 percent of the total coverage rate for the target groups.
The statistic indicated that: the Governorate of Muscat recorded the highest number of people who were vaccinated with the vaccine, reaching 875, followed by North Al Batinah Governorate with the vaccination of 315 people.
