Destiny Betrayed, writes: (page 389, see also page 112 for the same story) In a stolen December 14, 1966, Garrison memorandum, Jack Martin revealed that David Ferrie had introduced him to Oswald in Banister s office. With Ferrie at the time was Sergio Arcacha Smith.
His source? None other than
Probe Magazine, Volume 4, No. 4, page 8.
That issue of
Probe Magazine indicates that his source is handwritten notes of one of the earliest interviews Garrison s office had with Jack Martin. DiEugenio found this in Edward Wegmann s files, and they are based on a 12/14/1966 interview between Martin and Garrison. Garrison in briefly with Gary Schoener from Minneapolis, and Mark Lane. Schoener has been collaborating with Salandria and Katen. Talked to him briefly in my office. In afternoon I read the transcript of a v. interesting interview Garrison had with Jack Martin, on Dec 14, 1966. It lays down much of the subsequent case, as he links Oswald with Ferrie, and also,

The FBI transcribed the tape that D avy gave them. Here is the transcription:
He says in the tape that his lie detector test came out negative. But, given D avy s mental state, I cannot tell if he means he passed or failed the test.
The FBI then searched their files for information on D avy. And, they found an interesting tidbit:
Leander D avy was interviewed by Belford Lawson and Jack Moriarty of the HSCA on June 23, 1977 in Washington. It appears that D avy just showed up:
I have the full 33-page transcript, but I ll be only be posting excerpts here.
D avy recounts his meeting of Oswald in 1962 - of course, we know this is impossible because Oswald is living in Dallas. He had earlier told Garrison 1963. But, he then starts to tell the story of going into the Court two weeks before the assassination:
Breck Wall was an entertainer in Dallas who developed, with his partner and lover Joe Peterson, a musical revue called Bottoms Up. For a while, they performed this revue at Jack Ruby s Sovereign Club, which later became the Carousel Club. Wall was one of Jack Ruby s friends, and Wall visited him in jail after he killed Oswald.
Breck Wall during his oral history interview at the Sixth Floor Museum on December 28, 1993.
On November 23rd, Wall drove to Galveston, which is fifty-one miles southeast of Houston. He wanted to get away from Dallas for a few days and visit friends. He stayed with Thomas and Nonie McKenna, a couple who had lived next to his family when he was growing up. He was always very close with them. Wall left their phone number with the operator so that he could be reached, and that night at 11:44 PM, Jack Ruby called him from Dallas. He wanted some help from Wall who was then the President of the
On Friday evening, November 22, 1963, David Ferrie drove to Houston with two of his friends, Al Beauboeuf, and Mel Coffey. This trip has become the stuff of legends!
Just have a look at page 7 of Garrison s
On The Trail of The Assassins, and you ll find skepticism about the trip: And the more he talked, the less his story held together. For example, when I asked him the reason for his departure from New Orleans only one hour following the assassination, he responded that he had driven to Houston to go ice skating. When I asked him why he had chosen one of the heaviest thunderstorms in many years as the occasion for his ice skating trip, he had no adequate answer.
