Doha: Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) yesterday signed two agreements with Aamal QPSC and Ibn Ajayan Projects, under which the two companies join Team Qatar Supporters Program.
QOC President H E Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani, Aamal Chairman Sheikh Faisal bin Qassim Al Thani, and Chairman of Ibn Ajayan Projects, Mohammed bin Mahdi Ajayan Al Ahbabi, attended the signing ceremony.
The support of Aamal and Ibn Ajayan Projects contributes to providing the optimal environment for preparing and equipping elite athletes for major tournaments and setting up the training camps required for them. Aamal signed a three-year agreement with QOC. Ibn Ajayan Projects signed a four-year agreement with QOC.

Doha: Qatar Football Association (QFA) on Friday launched the emblem of the Asian Cup 2027 bid at the newly built Al Rayyan Stadium, venue of the 2020 Amir Cup final, and one of the stadiums to be used for the FIFA World Cup 2022, which will be held in Qatar.
The QFA also unveiled information on support of its bid on social media platforms and launched the official bid website. It marked the start of the promotional campaign for Qatar s Asian Cup 2027 bid.
The last step is a confirmation from the OFA of its commitment to fulfilling all hosting requirements, as per the schedule approved by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC).
