MOTC releases guidelines on Personal Data Privacy Protection Law  31 Jan 2021 - 21:43 QNA Doha - Marking the Data Privacy Day, the Compliance and Data Protection Department at the Ministry of Transport and Communications has announced the release of the guidelines of the Personal Data Privacy Protection Law No. (13) of 2016 to help the target audience, individuals, regulated entities and stakeholders understand their respective responsibilities, rights and practices as per the said law.  22 Dec 2020 - 16:39 The Peninsula Doha: With the start of Qatar’s COVID-19 vaccination campaign on Wednesday, December 23, Dr Samya Al Abdulla, Executive Director of Operations at Primary Health Care Corporation, confirmed that people who are eligible to receive the vaccination will be contacted directly to arrange their appointments. “The initial shipment of Pfizer and BioNTech vaccines arrived in Qatar on Monday, December 21 and provides enough vaccines for those people most at risk. The Ministry of Public Health’s strategy will enable everyone in Qatar to be vaccinated against COVID-19 in 2021, but for now we must prioritize people most at risk from severe complications and death from the virus,” explained Dr Al Abdulla.
