Our Correspondent Kohima, Nov. 16 (EMN): The 1st Nagaland state open volleyball championship got underway at Indira Gandhi Stadium (IGS) Kohima on Wednesday with Director of Youth Resources and Sports, (YRS) Akumla Chuba attending the occasion as special guest. Team of the ‘Fit India Freedom Rider Biker Rally,’ which was flagged off by the Union Minister of Home Affairs and Cooperation, Amit Shah, on September 9, reached Kohima on Saturday evening and halted for the night. Following the flagged-off, the team comprising 75 bikers proceeded to Manipur as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav (AKAM) to explore 75 iconic places in India across 34 states and union territories in 75 days covering a distance of more than 18,000 km.
