As of April 1, Akio Naito will be appointed President of SWC, succeeding Shuji Takahashi. Bringing years of dedication to Seiko Watch Corporation, Naito has held leadership roles in both Australia and Japan, as well as ushering the establishments of Grand Seiko Corporation of America and Grand Seiko Europe. th anniversary of his birth in 2020, while 2021 marks the 140
th anniversary of the company’s founding when Mr. Hattori was only 21 years old.
