Succour came for the residents of Aiyetoro community in the oil-rich Ilaje council area of Ondo State as relief materials were donated to them by the Federal Government after the displacement of over 2000 people and destruction of over 200 houses by sea incursion,
Recall that the residents of the community had threatened to relocate to the government house over government neglect and unbearable conditions caused by sea incursion.

Succour came for the residents of Aiyetoro community in the oil-rich Ilaje council area of Ondo State as relief materials were donated to them by the Federal Government after the displacement of over 2000 people and destruction of over 200 houses by sea incursion,
Recall that the residents of the community had threatened to relocate to the government house over government neglect and unbearable conditions caused by sea incursion.
They had displayed placards of various inscriptions lamenting government neglect.
The Senator representing the Southern senatorial district under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, Nicholas Tofowomo in a swift response sponsored a motion titled “Another Cry to Rescue Ayetoro Community in Ondo State from Continuous Ocean Surge,”

There is a government in West Africa that loves cows more than its citizens. It is no other than the regime of the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), of the Federal Republic of Nigeria under the All Progressives Congress.
The love for cows and herdsmen by the Buhari regime knows no bound. While this is understood, because the Nigerian President is a proud cattle farmer, who hails from the Fulani extraction who are predominantly pastoral farmers and cattle dealers, it is not yet clear why some state governors are also of the same character.

The Senator representing Ondo South Senatorial District in Ondo state, Nicholas Tofowomo, has declared total support for governor Rotimi Akeredolu’s decision directing all the herdsmen to vacate Ondo State forest reserves.
Tofowomo who is a Peoples Democratic Party Senator said the decision was to separate genuine businessmen from criminals in the forest.
The Senator in a statement by his Special Assistant, Media & Publicity, Akinrinlola Olumide, however, advised the governor to take a step further by making it a law.
“I join my voice with all the positive and good people of Ondo State and also congratulate Gov. Rotimi Akeredolu for taking a very good decision against the criminal activities of some Fulani herdsmen that are holding us to ransom in Ondo State.”
