i mean, you are a working journalist. i thought the basic precept of journalism was that the public has a right to know as much as it can realistically about what powerful people, and particularly the government tucker: i m sorry i have to cut you off there. the president is taking the stage. kim central, thank you. here is the president of the united states. thank you, everybody. wow. well, you know ronna and i we won michigan together. so i said i think we have to keep her and now look at the job she is doing. what a job. thanks, ronna. what a job. [applause] that s true. they are setting records but we are going to set another kind of record and that s making our great country so great again, so much better than it ever was, our military, our immigration situation. i think it has a chance. you know, the democrats are awol. they are missing in action. they re against. she responded by saying this, quote: i m a black woman, a feminist, and a former muslim who has consistently opposed political violence. yet, the splc has the audacity to label me an extremist. but the splc has been the beneficiary of luge donations from the likes of jp morgan and apple that prompted central in an op-ed by funding this list jp morgan and apple are saying they support labeling christian organizations that oppose gay marriage as, quote, hate groups. victor davis hanson is a senior fellow at the hoover. he joins me. very welcome to have you on the program tonight. thank you. martha: this piece by kim central caught my eye this morning. and we had looked at your piece the other day on the war monuments. this one to start with in this sort of progressive leaning at corporations where they feel if they don t back groups like the
most part. on what is going on at the irs. what they did. what they admitted they did. and mr. miller in the eyes of the questioners clearly they did not think he acquitted himself very well. he tried to explain his failure to alert congress to all of this when he went before them before by saying well, the inspector general was doing his reported and i knew it would come out but they didn t seem satisfied that that explained his omissions on material questions. he was being asked. okay. just after the break. we re going to talk about. this wall street journal columnist kim central is today suggesting that the responsibility for this controversy at the irs rests completely with the president. her argument, that debate fair and balanced next. just attacking people without ever disclosing who is behind all these attack ads. you don t know. it could be the oil industry. it could be the insurance
