Kishtwar: To ensure early establishment of Covid Care Centres in all Panchayats of the district, Deputy Commissioner, Kishtwar Ashok Sharma, today set timeline for creating the much needed facility for management of Corona cases in the rural areas.
The DC was reviewing the covid control and management measures at a meeting of the concerned officers held here at the conference Hall DC office Complex.
The meeting was attended by SDM Chatroo Inderjeet Singh Parihar; ; Chief Medical Officer, Dr R S Manhas; ASP Rajinder Singh ; ACR, Akhter Hussain Qazi; ACD, Kishore Singh Katoch; SDM Paddar, Varunjeet Singh Charak besides all the concerned Tehsildars and BDOs of the District. A slew of directions were passed to the concerned to strengthen the Covid containment efforts in the District.

KISHTWAR : To mark the World Red Cross Day 2021, the District Red Cross Society (DRCS) Kishtwar, under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Ashok Sharma, who is also its Chairman, today distributed the relief material comprising of the eatable items and other daily utility material among the beneficiaries of the Bal Ashram Kishtwar.

The packed material includes Haldi 10 Kg, Mirch Powder 1 Kg, Mustard Oil 48 ltr, Tea 20 Kg, Salt 25 Kg, Dal Chana 25 Kg, Sugar 50 Kg, Life-Boy Soap 30 nos and Rin Soap 30 nos. were handed over to the DSWO Kishtwar.

During inspection, he checked the attendance registers and directed the concerned to display the duty roster of officials vividly on the notice board and said that any kind of laxity shall not be tolerated.
Meanwhile, the DC Kishtwar also inspected the designated COVID care centre established at district Hospital and reviewed the arrangements placed in for the effective management of the COVID positive patients there.
He inquired from the patients about the provisions of medicines, meal and other medical facilities being provided to them.
The doctors apprised him of the treatment provided to these patients.
The DC expressed the satisfaction over the protocol being followed by hospital management in the treatment of these patients.
