Sexual Innuendo Billboard In Selayang Taken Down After Netizen Complaint

A local sex education activist managed to get a supposedly obscene roadside billboard taken down. On social media, independent preacher Mohd Fairuz Abu a.k.a Akhi Fairuz Al-Jengkawi, revealed several billboards scattered across the country which featured sexual innuendos and felt just a little too dirty. One billboard in Selayang had advertised a traditional health supplement brand for women called “Cowpex” which promises to rejuvenate its consumers, while the other (we’re not too sure on the location) had showcased an ad for an enhancement soap product for men. Akhi Fairuz claimed that the advertisements had double meanings on them – saying that the brand name Cowpex was a play on the Malay word “kopek” which is used in some circles as a euphemism for women’s breasts or nipples, while soap or “sabun” is often used to describe someone masturbating.
