Kamar Ahmad Simon to host WCF’s ‘Berlinale Spotlight’ Photo: Collected Arts & Entertainment Desk Arts & Entertainment Desk Kamar Ahmad Simon will host the special online screening titled, Berlinale Spotlight: World Cinema Fund . The special screening has been arranged by Goethe-Institut Bangladesh for the first time in four South Asian countries namely India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh. The Auteur will conduct the live Q&A session with Berlinale s Caligari Film Prize and Buenos Aires International Festival winner Tamer. I agreed to the event after knowing of the scope to chat with contemporary art-house filmmakers around the world, shared Kamar who has also received World Cinema Fund (WCF) from Berlinale for his upcoming film Shikolbaha (Iron Stream). The film is currently in the post-production phase.
