Shares of Delta Corp fell over 2 per cent in early trade today ahead of the gaming and casino firm's Q1 earnings set to be announced today. Delta Corp stock, which forms part of ace investor Rakesh Jhunjhunwala's portfolio, hit an intraday low of Rs 177.05, down 2.16 per cent against the previous close of Rs 180.95 on BSE.
Shares of Delta Corp rose 6 per cent today after HDFC Mutual Fund bought an additional 2.15 per cent equity stake in the company via open market transactions on June 10. With this transaction, shareholding of the mutual fund in the company rose to 9.21 per cent against 7.06 per cent earlier.
Shares of Delta Corp hit a fresh 52 week high in early trade today. The midcap stock, which forms part of ace investor Rakesh Jhunjhunwala's portfolio, rose 2.22 per cent to a fresh high of Rs 319.75 against the previous close of Rs 312.80 on BSE. Jhunjhunwala and his wife Rekha Jhunjhunwala held 1.15 crore shares (4.31% stake) and 85 lakh shares (3.18% stake) in Delta Corp at the end of quarter ended December 31.
