The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) has said it is planning a befitting event for lawyers to pay their last respect to their deceased colleague, Mrs Omobolanle Raheem, who was shot dead during 2022 Christmas Day. Raheem was allegedly shot dead by a police officer while she was returning from an outing with her family in Ajah area of Lagos State on Christmas Day. She was shot dead by an assistant superintendent of police attached to the Ajiwe Police Station in Ajah, Lagos. The suspect had since been remanded.
