Two more students of Greenfield University, Kaduna, kidnapped over a week ago by bandits have been killed by their abductors who are insisting on payment of N800 million ransom.
Meanwhile, the Nasarawa State Police Command has confirmed the attack.
“On 24/4/2021 at about 0600hrs, information was received from overseer, Ekye Development Area that, on same date at about 0100hrs, unknown assailants attacked Ajimaka Village situated at Nasarawa/Benue boundary, Doka district of Doma LGA,” a statement signed by police spokesman Ramhan Nansel said.
“Upon receipt of the information, a joint team of Police and Military personnel were deployed to the scene where nine Corpses were recovered, each with multiple machete cuts.
“Consequently, the Commissioner of Police has directed the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of State Criminal and investigation Department (SCID) to move to the area and conduct a comprehensive investigation inorder to unravel the misery behind the attack and arrest the perpetrators of the act.
