A man identified as Raji Gbenga Taofeeq, and no fewer than 10 other bus passengers were kidnapped by gunmen on Sunday night in Kwara State. A source close to Raji's family told SaharaReporters that the gunmen attacked the bus at Ganmo Area, Ilorin, Kwara and abducted Raji and other passengers on board. "Since last night that we received the information, we have been trying to reach him or the kidnappers, but they haven't contacted us," the source told SaharaReporters.

Kwara governor imposes curfew, deploys soldiers to quell renewed Offa/Erin-Ile clash All residents are hereby directed to withdraw from the streets of Offa and Erinle and all contested areas immediately.

Following the resurgence of an inter-communal clash, Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has imposed a curfew in Offa and Erin-Ile towns.
According to his spokesperson, Rafiu Ajakaye, the curfew will be in force between 6 p.m. and 8 a.m. till further notice.
PREMIUM TIMES had earlier reported how violence broke out on Thursday between residents of the two neighbouring communities. The clash started from a fight among road transport workers on Wednesday.
