Former councillors in Ludhiana are gearing up for the upcoming municipal corporation elections, campaigning for themselves and their party candidates simultaneously. They are actively preparing for the councillor post's race and expecting the elections to take place after the parliamentary elections.

As of 1 PM on May 20, around 34.62% of over 95.11 lakh voters across five Lok Sabha constituencies in Bihar have exercised their franchise. Notable candidates include Chirag Paswan, Rohini Acharya, and Sudhir Kumar Ojha. Voting began at 7 AM and will continue until 6 PM.
