Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to campaign for BJP candidates in Mizoram s Mamit town on October 30 ahead of the upcoming assembly polls in the state. Other prominent BJP leaders such as J P Nadda, Rajnath Singh, and Nitin Gadkari will also join the campaign trail. Union Minister Kiren Rijiju, who is currently in Mizoram, has been appointed as the BJP s election in-charge for the state. The BJP has fielded candidates in 23 seats, with a focus on linguistic minority areas. Elections will be held on November 7, with counting on December 3.
