Former Te Wānanga o Aotearoa innovation group director Aisha Ross has joined New Zealand venture capital firm Hillfarrance as a general partner.
At the wānanga Mr Ross established Ahikōmako - the Centre of Māori Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Pākihi workshops for Māori small business, and the Kōkiri Māori technology accelerator for early stage ventures.
Hillfarrance has invested in two start-ups which have been through Kōkiri - Kwotimation, which offers a software as a service for tradespeople to offer online quotes, and The Granary, which is developing software to speed up content development.
