Throughout the day, the posttropical cyclone is expected to impact areas from the jersey coast to southeast new england with strong waves, coastal flooding, and potentially lifethreatening rip currents. After hermine made landfall in florida friday as a hurricane its been blamed for at least two deaths. Near tampa, floodwaters are starting to recede. Governor rick scott said yesterday almost 21,000 homes and businesses are still without power. In new jersey yesterday, the cruise ship anthem of the seas was rocked by hermines waves on its way to bermuda.
