Great Falls International Airport may receive upwards of $6 million in federal funds Nicole Girten, Great Falls Tribune © RION SANDERS/GREAT FALLS TRIBUNE Great Falls International Airport is seeing the same drop in air passengers as the rest of the nation as non-essential travel has been discourged by health officials in hopes of curbing the coronavirus. Great Falls International Airport will receive over $1.8 million in federal funds through a  grant program offered through the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), per releases from both Montana U.S. Senators last week. Potential discretionary grants and entitlements from the FAA may increase the total amount to over $6 million, per Airport Director John Faulkner.
