STAFF and students at a Keighley secondary school have been supporting those in need during the pandemic. Since the first lockdown, Holy Family – in Spring Gardens Lane – has maintained a foodbank, distributing hampers every week to needy families. A school spokesperson said: “With the return to near normality, we intend to reopen our shop in the Airedale Centre in September and will revert to supporting the foodbank based at Keighley Salvation Army.” The Salvation Army foodbank, like others, has seen soaring demand during the pandemic.
