MADISON, Miss., Feb. 10, 2021 /PRNewswire/ The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center at Tinker Air Force base, Oklahoma, has awarded Vertex Aerospace a $65,603,271 firm-fixed-price contract to perform Contractor Operated and Maintained Base Supply (COMBS) for the Air Education and Training Command s fleet of T-1A trainer aircraft. This award is a modification to a previously awarded contract.

Vertex will provide logistics support to over 170 T-1A trainer aircraft at five domestic U.S. Air Force bases. Vertex has supported the Jayhawk trainer fleet since the USAF procured the aircraft in 1992.
