HOUSTON A Liquide America plant worker who suffered injuries during a plant explosion is claiming negligence.
Tammy Hale filed a complaint May 16 in Harris County District Court against Air Liquide America L.P., Air Liquide America Corporation alleging negligence and premises liability.
According to Hale s complaint, she and other workers were working at the defendants plant in Pasadena on March 6, 2021. She alleges that a sudden explosion at the plant caused her to flee for her life and suffer severe injuries including to her neck, back, head, arms, leg and other body parts. Hale claims the defendants did not provide her with a functioning gas detecting monitor to alert of any leaking gas fumes and that she was required to remain in the area of the explosion and was subjected to extremely loud explosion noises.
