New Delhi: India’s aviation regulator has suspended an Air India pilot, who allowed a woman friend inside the cockpit during a Dubai-Delhi flight in February, for violating safety norms and also fined the airline Rs 30 lakh.
DGCA has suspended the Air India pilot for three months for allowing a female friend to enter cockpit and stay inside it during flight from Dubai to Delhi.
Aviation regulator DGCA on Friday imposed a fine of Rs 30 lakh for lapses in addressing safety sensitive issue related to the incident of a pilot allowing a female friend in the cockpit during a Dubai-Delhi flight on February 27.
Ms Karong added that she correctly locked the cage in the presence of airline personnel, but to her total surprise, one of the kittens escaped and ran away.
