KUANTAN: An armed forces personnel and his son died when their vehicle was involved in an accident with a Toyota Hilux at Kilometre 137.5 of the East Coast Expressway heading to Kuantan here, yesterday.
Pahang Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department chief Supt Kamarulzaman Jusoh said Mohamad Kausa Mustafa, 36, and his five-year-old son Muhammad Ridwan died at the scene of the accident at around 1.50pm.
He said the victim’s wife, Ainul Yaqin Mokhtar, 31, and their two other children, Nursyuhada, eight, and six-day-old baby Nur Sakinah, who were also in their Perodua Viva car sustained injuries and were treated at Temerloh Hospital.
