Small ball was the difference in Tuesday’s Central Missouri Activities Conference matchup between the Battle Spartans and the Jefferson City Lady Jays at Vogel Field. The Spartans were able to manufacture a pair of runs and the Lady Jays fell just short, as Battle picked up a 2-1 win.
