On 7 October, Palestinian photojournalists Mohammad Al-Salhi, working for news agency Fourth Authority and Ibrahim Lafi from Ain Media news agency were killed while covering fights in the Gaza Strip during on-going military operations in the area. The International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) and the Palestinian Journalists Syndicate (PJS) condemn the killings and continued attacks on journalists. The IFJ calls for an immediate investigation into their deaths.
