(AP) A Connecticut woman accused of killing her 4-year-old son was ordered detained on $2 million bail Monday and placed under suicide and mental health watches. Tiffany Farrauto, 33, was arraigned via a video conference on charges of murder and risk of injury to a minor in New London Superior Court. New London police said Farrauto told officers who were responding to a report of her damaging a vehicle with a baseball bat on Sunday that she had strangled her son. Officers found the boy unresponsive in Farrauto s apartment and tried to revive him, but he was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at a hospital.
