Quashie reflects on QPR WFC s trip to Dartford

Quashie reflects on QPR WFC s trip to Dartford Share article: QPR FC Women’s manager Steve Quashie was keen to praise his young stars after facing a tough away friendly fixture against Dartford. The R’s suffered a 6-0 defeat to the Kent side, but the number of debuts made was the most pleasing part of the afternoon for the Rangers boss. Harriet Stiles-Winfield, Kyra Fleary, Jessica Francis-Weir and Louisa Linkas all made their first appearance for Quashie’s side, after rising up from the development programme and impressing for the reserve side. Sarah Coomson completed 90 minutes in her first outing since featuring for the first team in last season’s FA Cup campaign, while young shot-stopper Cara Henderson played her fifth first-team game this season.

QPR WFC players become Trust ambassadors

QPR WFC players become Trust ambassadors Share article: ON what is commonly known as International Women’s Day, QPR in the Community Trust are delighted to announce that members of our QPR FC Women side have become official ambassadors for the Trust. Hayley Peacock, Kasha Petit, Laura Hennessy, Jenny Moore, Merle Redhead-Ling, Melanie Hall, Ailish Carolan and Eshe Davies have all pledged their support to the club’s charitable arm – joining forces with our men’s side in a groundbreaking move by the R’s. With QPR FC Women now operating under the Trust side of the club, this is just another step in highlighting our commitment to the local community and also another reason to celebrate as we look ahead to this week’s Community Day, 2021.
