KUALA LUMPUR, May 9 Police will intensify enforcement and control at state and district borders as well as crowded areas to ensure that members of the public comply with the Covid-19 standard operating procedure (SOP) and do not travel across states or districts.
In fact, several state chief police officers today joined their men to ensure that enforcement of the SOP compliance was implemented in a bid to break the chain of infection.

These SOPs, which will apply based on dates announced by the government from time to time, include rules on maximum capacity allowed at the workplace, Aidilfitri bazaar operations, cross-state/district travel permissions and more.
In light of this, the National Security Council (MKN) has released a set of updated General SOPs for the MCO/PKP, which it states will apply based on dates announced by the government from time to time.

Movement control within/across districts
JOHOR BARU: Ramadan and Aidilfitri bazaars will be allowed to continue operating within the three districts in the state currently under the movement control order.
State housing and local government committee chairman Ayub Jamil said however that there would be changes in the operating hours for the two bazaars.
“For Johor Baru, Kulai and Kota Tinggi, which are under a MCO, the allowed operating hours for Ramadan bazaars are from 3pm until 8pm with much stricter standard operating procedures (SOPs) in place, said Ayub.
He added that Aidilfitri bazaars in the three districts can open from 10am to 10pm with stricter SOP in place.

Malaysia s extended Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO/PKPB) and Recovery MCO (RMCO/PKPP) in designated states take effect today, for the next two weeks (29 April to 17 May 2021). LUMPUR: The public is reminded, in view of the Covid-19 pandemic, not to be complacent during Ramadan especially through social activities such as visiting the homes of friends and relatives as well as travelling interstate or attending mass rallies.
