WAREHAM Logan Berube proved to be a double threat for Fairhaven in a 70-67 double-overtime South Coast Conference win over Wareham last Friday.
Up against a young Wareham team packed with speedy guards and perimeter shooters, Berube was a force to be reckoned with in the paint en route to scoring a game-high 24 points and playing tough on the boards. We knew we had to play physical and everybody on the team worked hard, said Berube, a senior forward/center who also plays baseball and golf for the Blue Devils. We were bigger than they were, but they were quicker than we were. Both teams played to their strengths.
