Govt and rice stakeholders agree to enhance food security in EA regi
THE government in collaboration with the country’s rice stakeholders have agreed to strengthen food security in the East African region and SADC countries aimed at being leaders of the rice market in the zone through the second national strategy for the development of the rice crop.
The remarks were made by the Ministry Agricultural engineer in the training and extension services department Eng Maregesi Geoffrey when opening the zonal meeting on the crop’s value chain.
