Jaguar Land Rover has announced that its first all-electric Performance SUV, the Jaguar I-Pace will be launched in India on 9th March 2021. The Jaguar I-Pace is fitted with a 90 kWh Lithium-ion battery that delivers 400 PS from its two electric motors. The 90 kWh Lithium-ion battery comes with 8 years or 1.60 lakh km warranty. Additionally, I-Pace customers will benefit from complimentary 5-year service package, 5 years Jaguar Roadside Assistance, as well as a 7.4 kW AC wall, mounted charger. NEW DELHI: Jaguar Land Rover announced on Monday that it will launch its first all-electric Performance SUV, the I-PACE in India on March 9, 2022.
The I-PACE will be offered in S, SE and HSE variants in India. Equipped with a 90 kWh lithium-ion battery, the I-PACE produces 294 kW and 696 Nm torque, helping it accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 4.8 seconds.
JLR will offer a complimentary 5 years service package, 5 years Jaguar Roadside Assistance and 7.4 kW AC wall mounted charger in addition to the standard 8 years/160,000 km battery warranty.
Jaguar has partnered with Tata Power in India to provide Home/Office charging solutions to I-PACE customers. Customers will also be able to access ‘EZ Charge’ EV charging network being installed by Tata Power, which already has 200+ charging points in 23+ cities and fast expanding across the country.
The all-electric
Jaguar I-Pace is set to be launched in India on March 23, 2021. Jaguar’s first EV in our market was previously set to launch on March 9 though the carmaker has now pushed back the launch to later in the month. Jaguar officially started
accepting bookings for the EV late last year.

2021 Jaguar I Pace: battery and electric motor details Powering the all-electric I-Pace will be a 90kWh battery, which will send power to two electric motors that develop a combined 400hp and 696Nm of torque. As per Jaguar’s claims, the 2.2-tonne electric SUV can do the 0-100kph sprint in 4.8sec, and go on to hit a top speed of 200kph. While there is no ARAI-certified range yet, the I-Pace has a 470km WLTP-rated range on a single charge.
