So one of the challenges that we have in Public Health as a Health Officer, when there is an immediate emergency, sometimes a Health Officer needs to declare a Health Emergency, and this law was written around the type of situation where if for example, if there was a hazardous spill, and theres no time to get approval, and i need to declare an emergency right there immediately, and so this law was only written to work for seven days, and then, it would have to have approval.
