NAB decides to move SC against Shehbaz Sharif s bail in money laundering case
LAHORE (Dunya News) – National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Tuesday has decided to move Supreme Court (SC) against Lahore High Court’s (LHC) decision of granting bail to Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president and opposition leader in National Assembly (NA) Shehbaz Sharif in money laundering case.
According to details, the prosecution team has started preparation in this regard.
On April 22, LHC had approved bail of Shehbaz Sharif in money laundering case over two surety bonds worth Rs5 million each.

A LHC full bench led by Justice Ali Baqir Najfi a day earlier had announced the verdict on bail petition of Shehbaz Sharif. Justice Aalia Neelum and Justice Shehbaz Rizvi were the other members of the bench.
During the proceedings, the court had made it clear to the counsel of Shehbaz Sharif that they must say anything but after receiving the signed copy of the judgments.
LHC seeks police report on cases registered against Dasti

MULTAN: The Lahore High Court (LHC) Multan-bench Monday summoned detailed report from Muzaffargarh police on cases registered against Awami Raj Party chairman Jamshed Dasti. Earlier, Jamshid Dasti filed a petition with the LHC Multan-bench Judge Justice Sardar Ahmed Naeem, stating that he had issued statements against the government and exposed the corruption of district officials.
He stated after his statements the police registered baseless cases against him and raided his house and other places to arrest him. He said the police were reluctant to give copies of the FIRs. The LHC Multan-bench summoned ordered the Muzaffargarh police and administration to present details of the cases by April 28th.

NAB court extends judicial remand of Shehbaz Sharif in money laundering case
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Accountability court on Thursday has extended judicial remand of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president Shehbaz Sharif after reviewing jail warrant in money laundering reference.
The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) court has also approved exemption from the hearing plea of Opposition Leader in Punjab Assembly Hamza Shahbaz and adjourned the proceedings till May 4.

A LHC division bench comprising Justice Sardar Sarfraz Ahmed Dogar and Justice Asjad Javed Ghural ordered the jail authorities for immediate release of PML-N Chief and Opposition Leader in National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif in money laundering case.
A LHC division bench comprising Justice Sarfraz Ahmed Dogar and Justice Asjad Javed Ghural passed the order on petition moved by Shehbaz Sharif. The bench granted him bail against two surety bond worth Rs 5 million.
The court directed the jail authorities for immediate release of Shehbaz Sharif.
It is a major political development and big relief for the PML-N during these testing times. Last month, Hamza Shehbaz, the son of Shehbaz Sharif and Opposition Leader in Punjab Assembly, was granted bail Chaudhary Sugar mills case.
