DHAKA, April 3, 2021 (BSS) The Bangabandhu 9th Bangladesh Games will continue until the government notification over the nationwide lockdown is issued, said Games Steering Committee chairman Bashir Ahmed Mamun.
His comment came just after Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader declared that a seven-day lockdown is set to be imposed across the country from Monday to contain the spread of coronavirus.
“The decision on the games will be taken in consultation with the Ministry of Health after the notification is issued. Since the final of many events are on April 4, the game will continue until that time,” Bashir Ahmed Mamun said here today.
