JEDDAH The Arab Coalition Forces in the early hours of Sunday morning intercepted and destroyed an explosive-laden drone fired by the Iranian-backed Al-Houthi militias towards Khamis Mushayt, the southern city of Saudi Arabia, reported Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
In a statement, coalition spokesman, Brig. Gen. Turki Al Maliki, said, The coalition air defenses intercepted and destroyed a drone (booby-trapped) launched by the terrorist Houthi militia towards Khamis Mushayt.”
Later, on Sunday, the Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Dr. Yousef Bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen strongly condemned the terrorist Houthi militia’s attempt to target civilians and civilian objects in Khamis Mushayt City with a bomb-laden UAV.
