By John Heinis/Hudson County View “In Bayonne, we have nine (9) residents who are currently listed as COVID-19 Positive. These numbers are trending down. There are currently two (2) residents who are Covid-19 positive and admitted to the Bayonne Medical Center,” the city’s office of emergency management announced today. “Being vaccinated is the best way to protect yourself from serious illness, should you contract the virus. Bayonne has administered 55,524 doses of vaccine, equating to 61% of our adult population, and 45% of our population over the age of 12 receiving at least one dose.”
