Tabuya while speaking in Parliament said the government of the day has qualified people who can take up the portfolio of Economy Minister and she pointed at Dr Mahendra Reddy, who is a qualified economist. “Our people are convinced of the serious flaws in the management of this economy. This is the end, he should do the right thing and resign,” she said. “We have got a very qualified Economist, like Minister for Agriculture Dr Mahendra Reddy to take up the portfolio. Nadakuni villager Ilisapeci Turagatogo said farmers lost threefolds of their profits and were helpless because they had no other option but to sell their produce at a cheaper price.
