SEYMOUR, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) says that work is scheduled to start up again this Tuesday, March 2, on the pavement reconstruction contract that began last year along US 50 in Seymour. A traffic switch is planned for the west end of the project, between Agrico Lane and Sandy Creek Drive, to allow for storm sewer work to begin.
On, or after Tuesday, INDOT says that all traffic will be moved to the south side of the barrier wall, between Dupont Drive and Starbucks, for storm sewer work. This configuration is expected to continue for about two months. Additional storm sewer activity will take place from the Walmart Distribution Center entrance to Cloverleaf Drive.
