UK, EU to continue trade talks until Sunday

LONDON (AA): British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen have agreed to continue negotiations on a post-Brexit trade deal until Sunday, according to a statement from Downing Street. Johnson said there were still “significant obstacles” which remain after his discussion on post-Brexit trade deal with Von der Leyen in Brussels. UK and EU will continue with negotiations till Sunday when a firm decision should be taken about future talks.
“We had a lively & interesting discussion on the state of play on outstanding issues,” Von der Leyen said in a statement posted on her Twitter account.
