A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church in Spring Green on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 10, 2024 at the Richardson-Stafford Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. and again at church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Agrace Hospice or Meadows Assisted Living. Virginia Anne (Scott) (Gin, Ginny) Hoeschen, 85, passed away on Thursday, April 18, 2024 after a long struggle with dementia. She was born on October 7, 1938 in Rochester, MN and grew up in Chatfield, MN. Gin is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Richard Hoeschen¸ son Timothy Hoeschen, daughter Heidi (Keith) Jackson, granddaughters Elizabeth Jackson and Eleanor Jackson, brother Donald (Rosanne Licciardi) Scott, sister Rosemary Scott, and many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marshall and Elizabeth Scott, and brother Robert Scott. Gin graduated from UW Stout in 1961 with a bachelor’s degree in Home Economics. She began working as a Home Economist with Northern States Power and eventually worked for Pillsbury and General Mills. She inherited her skill and love for cooking and baking from her mother.
