+ March 16, 2021 THERE has been so much controversy on the supposed third secret of Fatima from that 1917 Marian apparition in Portugal when about 70,000 people, including atheists, witnessed the stupendous miracle of the dancing sun.
This, despite the fact that in 2001, the Vatican had released the alleged full text of the third secret with a 40-page commentary by then Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger (later to become Pope Benedict XVI) and an introduction by Archbishop Tarcisio Bertone.
The document was released through the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, of which Ratzinger and Archbishop Bertone were prefect and secretary, respectively.
The document noted that Pope John XXIII read the third secret in August 1959, but decided not to publicize it. Pope Paul VI made the same decision in March 1965.

+ February 28, 2021 AS COVID-19 mutates into variants while emerging in different strains, dreaded Ebola erupts elsewhere, as a dangerous kind of bird flu is reported in Russia. Are we to hold on to new vaccines which, under non-pandemic circumstances, can not be pronounced safe for world consumption until about 10 years of scientific scrutiny?
As Catholics, there s something to literally hold on to. Our Blessed Mother said as much on Oct. 13, 1973 in her message to Sister Agnes Sasagawa in Akita, Japan where she repeated what she had been telling mankind over the centuries. In Akita, she said: .Pray very much the prayers of the Rosary. I alone am able to still save you from the calamities which approach. Those who place their confidence in Me will be saved.

+ February 09, 2021 PROPHECIES say we are now being tried as never before, that we are in the era wherein we have to choose between good and evil. Something like being given the final choice between the belief that life is short and what we often absentmindedly pronounce as life everlasting whenever we recite the Credo. The option to pick Heaven or hell.
In this conflict between the worlds of the material and the spirit, there is a need to give more information about life everlasting, because in this world, new smartphones, along with Facebook, Twitter, and TikTok attract better. Attractions of the here and now detaches us from the world of spirits, and therefore away from an amorphous God.

+ January 12, 2021 BEFORE the unpleasant prophecies, I am quoting one of my favorite saints, St. Therese of Lisieux, because regardless of what s coming to the world, I trust she would come and help if we call on her, for she had said: I am perfectly sure I shall not stay inactive in heaven. My desire is to go on working for the Church and for souls. That is what I
keep asking God and I am certain He will say yes.
And now to the end-times mission.
There are good reasons to believe we are indeed in the last times of an era. As much could be clearly gathered from Our Lord Jesus Christ in his message to St. Faustina Kowalska in Poland and from the Blessed Mother in her warnings through Sister Agnes Sasagawa in Japan. My past columns had dwelt on the messages from these apparitions.

+ January 07, 2021 KEEP an eye on Russia. It would seem that contrary to some reports from the Vatican, the eastern European country was never fully consecrated to the Immaculate Heart of Mary as the Mother of God had requested in her apparitions in Fatima. Thus, prophecies on threats from Russia still stand.
Here are recent and ancient prophecies on Russia.
Our Lady told Bl. Elena Aiello (1895-1961): Russia will march upon all nations of Europe, particularly Italy, and will raise her flag over the dome of St. Peter s. Italy will be severely tried by a great revolution, and Rome will be purified in blood for its many sins, especially those of impurity. The flock is about to be dispersed and the Pope will suffer greatly.
