Morning they heard the baby crying but that was nothing unusual. What was unusual it was only about 15 minutes before police say they got the call. I smelled gas this morning. They told everybody to go back in the house. I ran up here and tried to figure out what was going on then i seen this. Reporter the corner at north adams and ninth street taped off. Investigators gathering evidence in and around the first floor apartment at 826 west ninth. Officers met the mother outside. Reporter Wilmington Police chief robert tracy said, she had called for someone to come check on her sons. A baby just a few months old and a fiveyearold. The children looked like they might have been drowned at this time we cleared the whole building to make sure for the safety of everyone involve.
